What do the Officers Do?

State President: Provides overall leadership, represents Knights on Bikes Florida, and ensures the group stays true to its Catholic mission and values.

State Vice President: Supports the President, helps coordinate activities, state rides, and rider saftey, and steps in when the President is unavailable.

State Secretary: Keeps records, manages correspondence, and ensures meeting notes and communications are accurate and organized.

State Treasurer: Oversees the organization’s finances, including dues, donations, and event budgets.

Public Relations Director: Handles communications, media outreach, and promotes events to the broader community.

Webmaster: Manages the website, social media, and digital communications.

Diocesan Chairmen: Act as regional leaders who organize rides, foster fellowship, promote the mission of the Knights of Columbus and Knights on Bikes within their dioceses, and serve as vital liaisons between local members and state leadership.

SK George Gutierrez
State president for Knights on Bikes Florida. Born Freeport L.I.N.Y. Cuban parents Felix. Esther Gutierrez. Raised Miami. Florida led by father's example a Past Faithfull Navigator, Grand Knight, and District Deputy. Became a Knight of Columbus in 1984, Knight on Bike in 2015. ADOM Charmain since 2019, Past Grand Knight Council 5110 and F.D.D# 44 Miami Florida. Resident in Miramar, Florida, married to wife Milka, proud parent of 4 Children 2 Grandchildren. Active member parish San Juan XXIII. Has led as Chairman various ministries Carnival, Emmaus, Respect Life parish Rep, and Stewardship council. Involved in Lay Ministries Educ. Brd. ADOM, planning committee of the Annual Archbishop Ride. Profession ASA Dually designated discipline Commercial / Residential RE. as well as Tangible Personal Property a State Certificated Appraiser, helping the South Florida Taxpayer for over 33 years Property Tax consultant Experts Witness in AdValorem Taxation

SK Pedro Battle
SK Pete Battle has been an active member of Ave Maria Council 14697 and assembly 3862 since 2019, and is a past Trustee and Warden. Pete is a retired Police Officer from Jersey City Nj and from Collier County Sheriff’s Officer in Naples, Fl. Pete is also an active member of SOLT, America Needs Fatima, guardian of the rosary, and Flame of love rosary group. Pete has been married to his wife Demi since 1995 and has 3 children and one grandson. Pete rides a 2006 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic.

SK Zachary Mangones
Married to wife Nichole and proud father of 2 children. Active member of Knights of Columbus Council 14390 where he serves as council Recorder and his parish Saint John XXIII where he serves as a Mass Coordinator and Usher. With a heart for service and community, Zach embraces his faith through active participation and stewardship. His commitment to strengthening both spiritual and brotherly bonds within the community reflects his unwavering dedication to Catholic ideals and service to others.

Gabriel Gutierrez
Born and raised in South Florida. Gabriel was born into motorsport. Riding has been a huge part of his life. Although riding with the Knights on Bikes for 4 years since he was 16, Gabriel only recently became of age to be a Knights of Columbus and joined in December 2022. He plans to continue to ride with the Knights and with his youth have the time to expand and give the organization the energy to grow.

SK John "Sarge" Stone
Brother John Stone, a lifelong rider and devoted Catholic. John has a passion for bringing faith, fraternity, and the open road together. He proudly served his country as a Veteran and his community as a firefighter, experiences that continue to shape his commitment to service and brotherhood. John has also served as a Grand Knight, leading his council with the same dedication and spirit he now brings to Knights on Bikes.

Mike "Coach" Godbout
Mike Godbout, also known as “Coach,” has been a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus since 2004. In 2022, he further deepened his commitment to faith, fraternity, and service by joining the Knights on Bikes, where he rides with purpose and passion to show the community who the Knights of Columbus are while he rides. Coach is married to Yesenia and has three children and is currently employed at Father Lopez Catholic High School as a Theology Teacher. With a background in coaching, teaching, and ministry, Coach loves to ride, supporting charitable causes or helping brother Knights grow in faith and fellowship. Mike "Coach" Godbout aspires to inspire others to serve God, their community, and one another—with the throttle open and the cross always in view.

SK Kevin Kelly
Kevin lives in Naples FL with his wife and son, his daughter lives in Ft. Myers. He was originally from Chicago where he retired after 28 years as a policeman. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus serving as Grand Knight for St Ann council #11079 and Faithful Captain of the Everglades Assembly #1722. He has been an avid motorcycle enthusiast since his teens and hopes to keep riding until his wife sells his motorcycle.

SK Juan "Rabbit" Hernandez Jr.
Juan is a devoted veteran and community leader shaped by his junior and high school years in a Catholic school environment. After 25 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Army, he transitioned into parish and civic life. Since June 2013, he has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus, and in July 2021, he joined the Knights on Bikes. Within Fr. Howard J. Lesch Council No. 7667, he served in various roles before becoming Community Director. At Niceville’s Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, he contributes across numerous ministries. Married to Jaqueline since 2012, they share five children and enjoy riding his 2012 HarleyDavidson Ultra Classic together.

SK Mike Grubbs
Mike and Becky raised 3 sons in West Virginia and now have 4 grandchildren. For 40+ years, he belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and worked throughout the northeast. Grubbs now belongs to Notre Dame Council 10514. Upon moving to Florida, he found a perfect fit combining his love of God and motorcycles in the Knights on Bikes.

SK Ron Sheldon
Ron has served as a Part Grand Knight and Past Faithful Navigator. He is very active in his parish community in various Catholic ministries, St Vincent de Paul Society, Bereavement and Funeral Ministry, Lecturer, Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister, Altar Server, Mr & Mrs.club, DTNMC.
